Teardrop

Heyyy everybody, how are you doing? That's a rhetorical question, If you want to respond, email me, if not, remove yourself from this list. Kidding. If you don't know what a rhetorical question is, ask my good friend Chat GPT. If you're laughing right now, thank you, if not, remove yourself from this list. Kidding again. I am just typing random stuff right now because I'm bored and don't know what to write. I am also kinda sweaty cause I was playing ping pong all afternoon. Anyways sorry this is weird now I'll write a real email.

It has been a great week! We had a baptism yesterday which was awesome. Our friend Jorge was baptized and confirmed and it was a great meeting. We also had 3 baptismal dates for next week but they haven't come to church like 3 weeks in a row so we'll have to stop teaching them. It's unfortunate, but has to be done. We're hoping they'll miss us and stuff and them come next week. We will see. But either way, always enjoyable to have a baptism.

Our new pensionista cooks really good. It's the lady that makes us lunch everyday. So far they've been solid meals, the only sketchy thing so far has been an omelette with broccoli and cow stomach. Which is actually not as bad as it sounds. It's just very rubbery and leaves a weird aftertaste. Plus, it makes it better being cooked in eggs so that was chill. But other than that, pretty solid food.

We had Zone conference this week which was fun as always. Although this time we had to teach four 30 minute classes. I was a little nervous before but it turned out fun and was a good time. We learned a lot about receiving personal revelation and becoming permanent disciples. So that was cool and I had some good takeaways.

The other night we found a random phone in the middle of the street and didn't want to leave it there so we found out who the owner was, and returned it to him. It was kinda sketchy though cause it was pretty late, and some guys were trying to tell us that it was their phone, when it literally had a Hello Kitty case bruh. Then some random guy was trying to help us, but was super suspicious and had a teardrop tattoo under his eye so that was sick. It was a fiasco, but we ended up getting the phone to their owner and it was all good.

One thing I took away from this week was the importance of punctuality. I'm not gonna lie this branch is awful and does not show up on time for anything. I mean in all parts of the mission, including all of Peru and I'm sure a lot of South America are like that, but this place is awful hahah. So that's gonna be a big focus this transfer. So anyways guys, go to church and activities on time! It seems like a small insignificant thing but it is very important. It demonstrates our love for the Lord. So yeah guys, don't forget to be on time this Sunday at church and any other activities.

Love you all, hope you all have a fantastic week and I'll see you next week. Also shout out to my cousin Elder Zierenberg for ending his mission. Love you bro see you in a year.
