He's back

What is up everyone.


First things first, I'd like to formally apologize to you all for my lack of sending emails these past few months. I am sorry. Forgive me, but without further ado, let's see what I've been up to.

I have been in an area called Tumbes for the past few months, and I am loving it. Our ward is called Los Angeles and it's awesome. When I arrived, wow it was hot. Never had I felt such heat in my life. But over time, and especially now, it's started to cool down. So that's been nice.

I started with Elder Titto, my first companion here, and we worked great together. Had a great time with him. Now I'm with a different comp named Elder Johnson. Also great and enjoying my time once again. I also am finally serving around some good friends that I never got to before, so that has also been fun.

Since it's been a while, here are some things that have happened recently:
-There was an earthquake
-Got emergency transferred with a new companion
-Ate an unborn chicken egg(fertilized)
-Got 4 shots for rabies
-Ate at a mission famous burger restaurant one too many times 
-Watched a kid ride down a hill in a wagon and accidentally fall into a trash fire
-Ate ceviche after a while 
-Found some dope pants in a pop up in my area for 3 bucks

Apart from all that, we've been having lots of success in our area! We've been able to help a lot of our friends get to know the church and be baptized! It's been awesome to see the progression of all of them. We are currently working with lots more and will help them get baptized soon as well! We've been seeing so many miracles lately, it's amazing seeing how the Lord carries out his work. It's such a privilege to be able to participate in it.

Anyways, I don't have much time, but thanks to all for tuning in. Hopefully I can get back into the habit of doing these. Love you all and until next week!

What's up everyone? What the heck is going on? I apologize to you all for much lack of actual good email. It's very hard to write a good one in my area haha I don't have much time and we only have one phone as a companionship. But anyways I wanted to give you guys an update on how things have been. This week we had our last interviews with our President. He's leaving in like 2 weeks and we're getting a new gringo one. It's definitely exciting but also very sad. I love our current President and he's made a huge impact on my mission. It'll for sure be like that with the new one though so it'll be great. Hello everyone what in the world is up. I hope it's been a wonderful week for all of you. I have had a good week here in the pines (Los Pinos is my area). This week we had a baptism! It was for a girl named Jenny and it was awesome! I got to baptize her which was cool. The font was only halfway full due to lack of water recently, but luckily it was enough. I had to really lower her hahah but it worked. It was a great experience especially since it's been our only one this transfer, and my companion's first one in the mission. We also did it yesterday after church so there were a lot of people there thankfully. This week we got absolutely eaten alive by mosquitos which was awful. I just refuse to put repellent on. I don't know if it's cause of the stickiness or cause every time I smell it I think of the morning of a campout, which might be one of the worst feelings in the world. The ruins

What is up guys. How we doing this fine Monday morning? I hope all is well. I for one, am doing great. It was a fast and good week. Not a ton happened this week. But one cool thing we did find while going to a lesson in this random obscure place, were Las Ruinas. Translation: The Ruins. Need I say more? Or does the title pretty much sum it up? I'll do it anyway. It was basically just these super old structures surrounded by a really old church. It takes a close second to Machu Picchu. Kidding but it was pretty cool. Unfortunately we couldn't go check out more because it cost money and is also closed on P-days. It was cool though. We set up a mini-golf course in our apartment one night, and it was sick. I was going for an eagle putt on one of the rounds but choked under pressure, and had to settle for a birdie. Not bad, huh?
