Chill week

What's up everyone! I'm back from yet another week out here in Piura. It's been a crazy one, but let's get into some of the highlights.

First off, this morning we went back to Catacaos, cause I had to show my new comp Elder Webster what the hype is all about. Needless to say, it was sick once again. I didn't get as much as the last time but I got a couple things. Just a little wooden bowl thing for my coin collection of course, and a cool leather cover for my scriptures. But it was definitely a highlight of the week. I will definitely be going back later in my mission.

Last Tuesday we had to go do some paperwork in the city for my companion, so we had to go to Piura for a couple of hours. When we got there, we split off as trainers and went to this massive mall thing and it was fun. We got some frozen yogurt and just chilled. Twas a good little getaway and I got to see my good friend Elder Pratt again so we chatted for a bit. Solid day.

One thing that's crazy is that this week I'm gonna hit a year since I opened my mission call. That feels so fast to be that it's been a YEAR. It feels weird but it's exciting at the same time. It's been an absolutely wild year. But also super rewarding and I've learned so much! Anyways that was just something that I was thinking about this week.

We had exchanges last week with the zone leaders which was sick. Always fun to do a little exchange. I went with Elder Bradshaw and we had a good time. We got some sushi again which was scrumptious as usual. We also got a new ZL this week so that was cool. He's a cool dude. It'll be a fun last couple of weeks with him.

Let's talk a little bit about general conference, shall we? What a great conference weekend it was. Such great messages shared, and important advice to be considered. I especially loved President Nelson's talk about the power of temples. Being out here on a mission I haven't been able to go to the temple, and I really miss it! So you guys should follow the Prophet and go! It will bless you guys so much!

Well anyways, I didn't have a ton to write about this week but that's kinda all that happened. I hope you all have a great week. I love you all!
