Coffee break

Hello everyone, how's it going! This week was pretty good, transfers are next week which is exciting. We did a lot this week.

The other day we had an activity about the work of the Lord and the pioneers of Peru. So we had some of the first missionaries come and visit, and one of them was a guy that served here 40 years ago. He came here with his family after all that time. It was crazy to think about how much time that is and how he was once a missionary here. It was fun to be able to talk to them all in english for a little bit. I was the rookie talking to the veteran. It was like Kobe and Jordan. Basically the same.

The other day we went to a house, and the family claimed that there were spirits living there. The kids told us that they see dark figures in their room at night. It was kinda scary, but luckily the home was dedicated a little after and all was good. For a second it felt like I was living in the Haunted Mansion, the only difference is that we didn't have Eddie Murphy there to lighten the mood.

The other day we went and got some milkshakes with some ward members and they were actually so good. First milkshake since I've been home and it was amazing. It was at a place called coffee break, but don't worry, we didn't drink any coffee. But speaking of coffee, a ward member told us that caffeine was against the word of wisdom because it was found in coffee. We obviously didn't agree with her but we disagreed with love. She is a 15 year old girl with a 1 year old kid so yeah, there's already something fishy going on there.

The other day, I have no idea how, but somehow a dog from the street got into our sacrament meeting and was just roaming around while we were all taking the sacrament. It was very strange. Luckily it didn't bark or anything and it stayed pretty reverent. We're hoping it told all his friends how important the sacrament is and invited them all to church next week. Sorry that was a really dumb joke. But yeah it was really weird and pretty funny.

Something super cool happened this week. A couple weeks ago I accidentally gave a Book of Mormon away that belonged to my companion, and it had something written inside it that was for someone else. So the other day we went to get the book back. When we went to the house, we ended up finding three new people who were all interested in the church. It was awesome. It helped me realize that Heavenly Father has His hand in everything. He knew that all of this was going to happen from the beginning. He is our loving Father and He has a plan for each one of us.

Sorry guys, this was one of my less interesting emails but I hope you have a great week. Love you all!
