Hacky sack pro

What's up everyone! Sorry I was a bit late on this email, I had a super busy P-day. It's been another super quick, but great week. 

We got to hear from another member of the Seventy which was awesome. It was Elder Brent K. Nattress. He gave a great talk about giving it all on our missions. Something that really stuck out to me was the scripture Mark 5:36. It says, "Be not afraid, only believe." I know I'm going to have challenges these next two years but I also know that if I have faith, I can get through them. 

After the devotional we had a district meeting to review it and it was one of the best meetings I've been to here at the MTC. There were some super powerful testimonies born and the spirit in that room was so strong. I love my district and I'm so thankful for all their testimonies.

Some kid in my building tried to ride a wheelchair down the stairs and almost died.

My roommate Elder Harris and I have been doing a lot of hacky sack at night. If you remember in my second email I said we had a record but we were gonna beat it. Well the record then was about 18 passes. The record now is 76 passes. Not bad for a couple of rookies, huh?

We got 3 more Elders in my district to buzz their heads. 6/17 complete.

On Thursday I completed my first month as a missionary. Still crazy to me that it's already been that long. I only have 23 more months left, this mission is flying by. What's actually crazy is I am officially leaving for Peru next week!

Almost everyone in my district got their reassignments on Friday. 13 of us are called to Peru, and only 3 of us got our Visas. The reassignments were awesome. We did a draft so we had the teacher pick a name from the hat and announce their mission like "Elder ___, the lord has asked you to temporarily serve in the ___ mission." It was really fun, and everyone was super excited. 

That's pretty much all for this week!  Thanks for all your emails and messages throughout the week! Sorry I'm not very good at responding to them but I really appreciate them!

What's up everyone? What the heck is going on? I apologize to you all for much lack of actual good email. It's very hard to write a good one in my area haha I don't have much time and we only have one phone as a companionship. But anyways I wanted to give you guys an update on how things have been. This week we had our last interviews with our President. He's leaving in like 2 weeks and we're getting a new gringo one. It's definitely exciting but also very sad. I love our current President and he's made a huge impact on my mission. It'll for sure be like that with the new one though so it'll be great. Buzzcut season

Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well! I'm doing great! Just absolutely chilling out here in the slums. The boonies, if you will. It's been a pretty quick week once again, which seems to be going by faster and faster as time goes on. This week we had some good little interviews with the man himself. President. Who sadly only has about 2 months left as our president. But anyways, the interviews went great and we had some good food after at the mission home. Little chicken broaster with some tasty little platano cups filled with a little onion concoction. A definite Peruvian masterpiece. My son Elder Webster this week took the bold decision to get a buzzcut, and I was tempted to do the same. But I didn’t crumble under pressure this time. He also shared his testimony yesterday in Sacrament meeting and it was great, it was a proud father moment. French gringo

Hello everyone here I am again after another week! Its been an eventful 2 weeks and today I'll give you guys quick update on the past few since I've been lacking on the emails.  This week we had transfers! I'm staying in my area Vichayal, which I'm chill with. I got a new companion though his name is Elder Rodriguez and he's chill. It'll be a good transfer it seems like. The work here is going pretty good, recently it's been hard to find new people that will actually progress, but in these past couple days, we've found some so that's been a blessing. Either way if we have a ton of success or not this transfer it'll still be a good one. Last week we heard about a guy from France that lived in this little village called Rio Viejo. So we went and knocked on his door that was surrounded by this massive wall and gate. Some 50 year old white dude answered and said we could come in. Holy cow this place ws nice.
