Buzzcut season

Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well! I'm doing great! Just absolutely chilling out here in the slums. The boonies, if you will. It's been a pretty quick week once again, which seems to be going by faster and faster as time goes on.

This week we had some good little interviews with the man himself. President. Who sadly only has about 2 months left as our president. But anyways, the interviews went great and we had some good food after at the mission home. Little chicken broaster with some tasty little platano cups filled with a little onion concoction. A definite Peruvian masterpiece.

My son Elder Webster this week took the bold decision to get a buzzcut, and I was tempted to do the same. But I didn’t crumble under pressure this time. He also shared his testimony yesterday in Sacrament meeting and it was great, it was a proud father moment. They grow up so fast don't they.

Something crazy I forgot to mention last week is that when I was on exchanges, the carbon monoxide alarm started beeping right as we were getting ready for bed. It was actually so scary cause I've seen videos about that stuff and I was not wanting to mess with it. But thankfully, after thorough examination, we realized it was a false alarm and just a battery malfunction. Crisis averted.

What's crazy is that the transfers are already next week! These past 5 weeks have flown by. I'm pretty certain I'll leave the area which is exciting I guess. We'll see where I end up going! It's been a fun and eventful transfer, fast and exciting for sure.

One thing I was thinking about this week a little is repentance. It's so awesome that we have the ability to repent and come clean again. Through Jesus Christ and His atonement we can be forgiven and start again!

Anyways, kind of a shorter email this week guys. Less crazy week but it was a good one as well. I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy some cool weather hahah! Love you all!

Elder Spangler

Sorry, lacking on the pictures this week. My bad guys
